Step 1

Since the NormaTec PCD is available only by prescription, make an appointment with your doctor, podiatrist, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant to discuss your medical condition and treatment options.

Download and print our handy Clinician Information Kit and make sure to take it with you to your appointment. This kit includes a convenient check-list of topics for you to discuss together, and materials to help your clinician learn about Pneumatic Medicine and the NormaTec PCD.

During your appointment, your clinician will review your medical condition and treatment options with you, and decide if your condition would benefit from using the NormaTec PCD.

NormaTec takes care of all issues related to your insurance coverage. Most insurance plans cover the NormaTec PCD, and NormaTec is committed to working with you to make our product as financially affordable as possible.

Step 3

Once your clinician prescribes the NormaTec PCD and it is delivered to your home, a member of the NormaTec Clinical Team will call you with detailed information about setting up and using your NormaTec PCD at home. Starting treatment is easy, especially with the illustrated quick-start guide included.

After you begin using the NormaTec PCD, schedule regular follow-up appointments with your clinician to keep track of your progress. The NormaTec Clinical Team will also be in touch with you by phone to make sure everything is going smoothly with your treatment, and to answer any questions you or your family might have.
